National City: Video Rental Store Robbed

11.28.2018 | 4:40 PM | NATIONAL CITY – A video rental store that also sells groceries and other items was robbed at gunpoint, Wednesday evening.

Officers responded to a reported robbery at the Super Video store located on the corner of 4th and Highland avenues around 4:40 PM.

Units arriving on scene discovered a pair of males entered the store and tandem before one of the men displayed a handgun and demanded cash.

The store clerk, fearing for his life, quickly handed over approximately $400-$500 in cash to the suspects who then fled on foot.

Police described the men only as a male white and a male black.

An investigation is ongoing.
