National City: Officers Catch Street Racers In The Act (Caught On Camera)

05.25.2020 | 12:45 AM | NATIONAL CITY – Two street racers were caught in the act by officers who were responding to reports of street racing, early Monday morning.

Officers responded to reports of street racing occurring on Cleveland Avenue between 14th and 23rd streets around 12:45 AM.

Units arriving in the area observed two vehicles, a blue Nissan and silver Honda, lined up and stopped in the roadway before taking off in an obvious speed contest.

The officers stopped both the drivers who were determined to be brothers and cited both for speeding and street racing.

The driver of the blue Nissan was also cited for driving without a valid license and ordered to park the vehicle.
