Naked Man Burglarizes Nail Salon | Santa Clarita

04.03.2021 | 9:00 AM | SANTA CLARITA – Officials responded to reports of a possible burglary in the business, Novilo Salon and Spa on the 23300 block of Cinema Drive. A worker opening the salon for the day came into the salon ransacked and noises coming from the business. When units arrived on scene they found one naked male hiding one of the rooms of the salon. Per Captain Justin Diez of LASD SCV, the male was possibly under the influence and suffering from a mental health episode. The man was transported to a local hospital, sustaining injuries of when he fell through the roof into the business. It is unknown why the man was naked or how long he was inside the business. It does not appear anything was taken, only damage being to the roof where the man entered and the inside of the building where he ransacked. It is unknown why he chose this business or how he got into the roof. It was believed at the time of call another person was possible inside the business still. LASD SEB was called in to help clear the building, and surrounding businesses, in an abundance of caution in case any other people were hiding inside. K9 and the Bearcat were deployed to assist deputies. No other people were found inside. No force was necessary in detaining the one subject.
