Mustang Crashes into Mission Bay
INCIDENT DATE/TIME: 8-28-24 6:10 am approx
LOCATION: E. Barfield Dr
AREA/CITY: San Diego
DETAILS:
- 911 was called about a Ford Mustang with a Disabled License Plate in the water at the north end of Mission Bay.
- SD City Lifeguards were notified, and upon a search, no one was found in the car.
- While SDPD officers were waiting for a tow truck to arrive, the owners arrived.
- Upon questioning, they were asked what had happened. They claimed they didn’t know, or if they weren’t driving, how they knew where the car was located.
- There were empty beer cans in the vehicle.
