Multiple Overdoses Reported in Lakewood

INCIDENT DATE/TIME: 4-7-24 1:00 a.m.
LOCATION: 6617 Dilman St
AREA/CITY: Lakewood
DETAILS:

1. First responders were dispatched to a possible overdose with multiple people down.
2. Upon arrival, it was confirmed that multiple people had overdosed, needing Narcan.
3. LACoFD requested four ambulances along with additional resources.
4. After life-saving measures were performed and multiple doses of Narcan were administered, one person died on the scene.
5. 3 Other patients were transported to an area hospital in unknown condition.
6. Lakewood Sheriffs are handling the investigation.
