Several Glendale Fire crews responded to reports of a serious multi-vehicle collision shortly before 8:00 PM Saturday evening.

According to Police on scene, at least one person has been pronounced deceased on scene and multiple people were hospitalized as a result of the crash.

The exact number of hospitalized victims has not been released.

Extent of injuries and patient conditions has not been released.

At least 5 vehicles are involved in the collision.

51st Avenue is closed in both directions spanning between Glenn Drive and Lamar Road.

Glendale Avenue is closed in both directions spanning between 52nd Avenue to 47th Avenue.

Multiple detectives are currently on scene.

The closure is expected to remain in place for several hours.
