Multi Vehicle Crash Claims The Life Of One

LOCATION: 5 Fwy North at the 57 Fwy Interchange

DETAILS:

1. The Orange County Fire Authority and the Santa Ana CHP got reports of a traffic collision on the 5 fwy and the 57 fwy interchange.
2. Once CHP arrived they reported that a multi vehicle crash had stuck the barrier between the HOV lane & main lanes of the highway
3. Fire arrived and transported unknown patient but there was one confirmed fatal in this crash.
4. CHP is investigating the crash at the moment and there is a hard closure by Cal-Trans for an unknown amount of time.
