Multi-Casualty Officer-Involved Shooting & Fire | Houston
08.28.2022 | 1:07 AM | HOUSTON – Houston Fire Department responded to reports of a house fire.
Houston Police Department responded to reports of a shooting.
At this time 4 people are deceased including a shooting suspect.
Fire crews first arrived and had to take cover when they heard shots being fired.
When the first officer arrived, he located the suspect an African American male dressed in all black laying down on the ground with a shotgun across the street from fire.
The officer discharged his weapon striking and killing the male.
Fire crews were able to rescue two males with gun shot wounds. One with a gun shot wound to the chest and the other to the arm.
Both were transported by ambulance.
The male that was shot in the chest, died at the hospital.
Fire crews then located two other males deceased with gun shot wounds on the property.
It was reported the suspect was recently evicted from the residence.
He started the fire and waited for the individuals to exit the residence.
He then began firing at the individuals as they were exiting.
