Mountain View: Women Arrested After Pursuit Crash

12.07.2018 | 3:10 AM | MOUNTAIN VIEW – A pair of women were in custody after they crashed while fleeing from police, Friday morning.

Officers with the Menlo Park Police Department attempted to stop the driver of a sedan they believed to be under the influence.

The driver of the sedan failed to yield, prompting a pursuit that continued along the southbound I-101 before the driver crashed near the Rengstorff exit.

Police quickly arrested the driver and passenger of the vehicle who were believed to be under the influence.

Several open containers of alcohol were seen being taken by officers from the vehicle during an inventory.
