Mount Baldy: Angeles National Forest Brush Fire

11.03.2018 | 7:30 PM | SAN ANTONIO HEIGHTS – A brush fire burned as many as 20 acres in the Angeles National Forest near Mount Baldy, Friday evening.

The Los Angeles County Fire Department responded around 7:30 PM to assist the U.S. Forest Service in battling the blaze.

Using ground crews and two helicopters to drop water, the fire was eventually contained to approximately 20 acres.

Winds were reportedly light in the area at the time of the fire.

The cause of the fire was not immediately known.
