Motorcyclist Seriously Injured After Crashing During Pursuit
INCIDENT DATE/TIME: 7-23-23 | 10:55 p.m.
LOCATION: 828 N Soto St
AREA/CITY: Los Angles
DETAILS:
- East LA CHP was in pursuit of a motorcycle that was wanted for reckless driving on the 6th St Bridge
- Officers pursued the motorcycle for several minutes in the Boyle Heights area
- Eventually the rider turned into an alley and struck a car that was backing out of a driveway
- CHP officers stated the motorcycle was not conscious & was hardly breathing
- Officers began CPR & requested LAFD
- LAFD Paramedics transported the man to an area hospital in unknown condition
- Officers at the scene are investigating the crash, taking measurements & photographs
- Officers said that it is not a fatality as of 11:30 p.m. but the rider wasnt looking too good
