Motorcyclist Killed Motor Vehicle Accident

Preliminary information indicates a pickup truck was traveling westbound on Gears Road and attempted to make a left-hand turn onto Greens Road.

At the same time, a dirt bike, was traveling eastbound on Greens Road and collided with the pickup at the intersection.

The motorcyclist was ejected and struck another vehicle that was stopped at the light.

CPR was performed at the scene, but the motorcycle rider, a male in his 30s, was pronounced deceased at the location.

Rider was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.

Witnesses at the scene reported that one of the vehicles may have run the light, but video evidence is still being obtained to confirm that claim.
