Motorcyclist Killed In Fiery Fontana Crash

A motorcyclist was killed in a fiery collision Wednesday night in Fontana.

At approximately 10:13 p.m. on August 5, 2026, emergency crews responded to Valley Boulevard and Elm Avenue following reports of a traffic collision with fire.

First responders arrived to find both a motorcycle and its rider on fire. Crews extinguished the flames, but the rider was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Preliminary information indicates the motorcycle may have collided with a semi-truck and trailer that was turning onto Elm Avenue, although that information had not been confirmed by investigators at the scene.

The intersection was closed while officers investigated the circumstances surrounding the fatal collision.
