Motorcyclist Killed in Crash on 5 Freeway
INCIDENT DATE/TIME: 03-14-25 / 10:15 pm
LOCATION: SB 5 Fwy @ Slauson Ave
AREA/CITY: Commerce
DETAILS:
- LACoFD and Chp got dispatched to a traffic collision involving a motorcycle on the 5 fwy going southbound at near the Slauson Ave exit
- Upon units arriving at the scene, units got updates that the rider hit a vehicle and that a good Samaritan started CPR on the down rider.
- CHP arrived at the scene and took over CPR until Fire arrived at the scene.
- Fire pronounced the rider DOA
- The cause of the crash is still unknown at this time.
