Motorcyclist Killed After Plunging Down Cliffside In San Mateo, CA

AREA/CITY: Unincorporated San Mateo
DETAILS:

1. Firefighters and CHP responded to reports of a motorcyclist down a cliffside near Polhemus Road and 92.
2. Upon arrival, firefighters located an unresponsive victim and his motorcycle down the cliff, near the coroner’s office.
3. Firefighters rappelled down via ropes to access the victim, who was pronounced deceased at the scene.
4. The coroner’s office took possession of the body, and CHP is still investigating.
