Motorcyclist Hits Two Pedestrians During Amazon Worker Walkout
Three people were hospitalized following a motorcycle collision Wednesday morning at the site of an Amazon employee walkout in unincorporated Riverside.
At approximately 10:28 a.m. on September 2, 2026, Riverside County sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to the 20000 block of Krameria Avenue regarding a reported assault with a deadly weapon.
According to the Sheriff’s Department, deputies arrived and learned that a motorcyclist had collided with two pedestrians. All three people were transported to a local hospital in stable condition. No arrests were made, and authorities said the cause and circumstances surrounding the collision remain under investigation.
Preliminary CHP logs contained reports of a confrontation involving the motorcyclist and allegations that protesters were preventing people from leaving the property. Those circumstances have not been confirmed by the Sheriff’s Department.
The incident occurred as approximately 150 Amazon employees participated in a walkout at the Krameria Avenue facility.
A spokesman for the workers said employees were protesting wages and workplace security concerns. He said some employees rely on overtime to make ends meet and also raised concerns about management’s response to a reported incident involving a former employee allegedly entering the facility with a gun and making threats.
No additional details regarding that allegation were immediately available.
The employee walkout remained underway following the collision.
