Motorcyclist Dead After Crash Involving Semi Truck

INCIDENT DATE/TIME: 12-14-24, 1:06 p.m.
LOCATION: SR60 E EO DAY ST
AREA/CITY: Moreno Valley
DETAILS:

  1. California Highway Patrol and Cal Fire, Riverside County, Moreno Valley, responded to a traffic collision on the freeway.
  2. They found a black SUV, a semi, and a motorcycle rider on the freeway when they arrived.
  3. Firefighter paramedics pronounced the motorcycle rider deceased.
  4. The motorcycle is wedged underneath the semi tire (see in the video)
  5. It isn’t clear how the crash occurred at this time, but a SIG alert has been issued, and CHP will investigate the scene.
  6. EB 60/SB 215 was backed up several miles from the crash scene to the University Ave exit on the 215 Riverside.
