Motorcycle Rider Ejected, Suffers Critical Injuries

INCIDENT DATE/TIME: 11-11-23, 2:15 a.m.
LOCATION: EB 91 and Arlington Street
CITY: Riverside
DETAILS:

  1. California Highway Patrol, Riverside and Riverside Fire Department responded to reports of a motorcycle that had hit the cement barrier as he exited the EB 91 freeway.
  2. When units arrived on scene, they found one motorcycle rider down, suffering major head trauma and critical injuries.
  3. The man was transported to a local area hospital suffering from major injuries.
  4. According to witnesses and officers with California Highway Patrol, the man was exciting the freeway at a high rate of speed when he hit the cement barrier and was ejected, throwing him over the barrier.
  5. The man landed about 20 feet on the other side of the wall, his Harley Davidson, slid about 75 feet and came to rest against a street light pole.
  6. His current status is unknown.
  7. It is not clear if drugs or alcohol were a factor in the incident.
