Motorcycle Rider Ejected, Suffers Critical Injuries

- California Highway Patrol, Riverside and Riverside Fire Department responded to reports of a motorcycle that had hit the cement barrier as he exited the EB 91 freeway.
- When units arrived on scene, they found one motorcycle rider down, suffering major head trauma and critical injuries.
- The man was transported to a local area hospital suffering from major injuries.
- According to witnesses and officers with California Highway Patrol, the man was exciting the freeway at a high rate of speed when he hit the cement barrier and was ejected, throwing him over the barrier.
- The man landed about 20 feet on the other side of the wall, his Harley Davidson, slid about 75 feet and came to rest against a street light pole.
- His current status is unknown.
- It is not clear if drugs or alcohol were a factor in the incident.
