Motorcycle Pursuit Ends In Foot-bail Though Sewer Plant

DETAILS:
- On July 10th, 2023, at about 10:00 PM, Riverside CHP initiated a traffic stop on a sports bike on the Eastbound 91 Freeway at Central Ave. due to high speeds.
- The bike failed to yield to the officer, and a pursuit ensued.
- The rider took the Southbound 215 Freeway at speeds up to 130 MPH.
- After exiting and re-entering the freeway, multiple times, the bike exited at Cajalco Expy. It took surface streets where he eventually crashed near the WWRF Sewer Treatment plant and took foot bail into the facility.
- The suspect was taken into custody after searching the complex and with help from Riverside PD Air Unit and Riverside Sheriffs.
- He was transported to a local hospital for injuries sustained during the pursuit.
