Mother Trapped in Rollover Crash | Houston

03.09.2022 | 10:15 PM | HOUSTON – HPD and HFD responded to reports of a crash with parties trapped.

Precinct 5 deputies came upon the crash as units were en route.

Deputies located a 2 car crash with an SUV rolled over and pinned on its side, up against a traffic pole.

A female and 3 children were located inside the SUV.

A male driver was located inside the pickup truck that T-boned the SUV.

Deputies assisted in getting the children out of the SUV, and HFD had to extricate the mother.

All 5 occupants of both vehicles were transported with non life threatening injuries to local trauma centers.

The Driver of the pickup truck was at fault, as witnesses to HPD that they saw the vehicle run the red light immediately prior to the crash.

That driver is believed to be under the influence, and HPD is conducting a DWI investigation at the hospital.
