Mother Reaching for Infant Crashes into 3 Parked Vehicles | Otay Mesa

11.12.2021 | 6:59 AM | SAN DIEGO – The female driver of the Toyota 4Runner took the turn from Ocean View Hills Prkwy too fast onto Hidden Trails Rd. She did not secure her 1-year-old infants’ car seat onto the rear seat seatbelts. As she made the turn at a high speed, the car seat and baby began to move and the mother reached behind her for the baby and crashed into 3 parked vehicles, flipping one onto its side. There was a male in the back seat of the silver Chevy at the time of the crash, and he requested to go to the hospital for unknown injuries. The mother and infant were not injured.
