Mother And 9-Year-Old Daughter Shot | Houston

06.13.2022 | 9:56 PM | HOUSTON – HPD units are investigating a shooting involving a 9 year old female and her mother.

The child was transported by ambulance with a gun shot wound to the head. She was pronounced deceased at the hospital.

The mother was shot in the shoulder / arm. She was transported by ambulance with non life threatening injuries.

It was reported there was a domestic disturbance between the mother and a male. It is unknown what their connection is at this time.

The male shot the mother and her 9 year old daughter was hit.

There was also a toddler in the apartment who was not injured and currently is with family members.

The male is a known suspect and officers are currently looking for him.

Investigation is underway.
