Moreno Valley: Tim Fire Prompts Road Closures

08.21.2020 | 4:00 PM | MORENO VALLEY – A brush fire dubbed the “Time Fire” prompted closures while crews quickly attacked the blaze, Friday evening.

Authorities responded to reports of the fire burning along Redlands Boulevard near San Timoteo Road around 4:00 PM.

Units arriving on scene located fire burning in heavy vegetation at a moderate rate of spread and worked to douse the blaze from the air and ground.

Within two hours the fire had spread to 15 acres and was 20 percent contained.

No injuries were reported but several road closures were in effect while firefighters coordinated their efforts.
