Moreno Valley: Female Pedestrian Killed By Hit And Run Driver

11.26.2018 | 7:30 PM | MORENO VALLEY – A person was under arrest after killing a pedestrian and fleeing the scene, Monday night.

Deputies responded to reports of a auto versus pedestrian collision on Cottonwood Avenue and Old 215 Frontage Road around 7:30 PM.

Units arriving on scene found a female pedestrian deceased in the roadway. The victim appeared to have been struck by a vehicle that fled the scene.

Authorities scoured the area searching for a suspect and eventually located who they believe to be the driver. That individual was placed under arrest on suspicion of felony hit and run.

Further details surrounding the arrest were not immediately available.
