Moreno Valley: DUI Crash Leaves One Dead, Another Under Arrest

12.21.2018 | 11:11 PM | MORENO VALLEY – A DUI driver was under arrest after crashing and killing his passenger, Friday night.

Authorities responded to a reported crash on the westbound SR-60 freeway just east of Redlands Boulevard around 11:11 PM.

Units arriving on scene found a single vehicle crash on occupant ejected and another trapped inside.

Firefighters worked to extricated the trapped passenger but determined he had succumbed to his injuries on scene. He was pronounced deceased.

The ejected occupant was determined to be the diver of the vehicle and was evaluated on scene before being placed under arrest on suspicion of DUI.
