Moreno Valley: Driver Dead After Rolling 200-Feet Down Embankment

01.12.2019 | 8:48 PM | MORENO VALLEY – A person was dead after the car they were driving rolled 200-feet down an embankment, Saturday night.

Officials responded to the reported crash on the westbound SR-60 at Gilman Springs around 8:48 PM.

Units arriving on scene located a vehicle approximately 200-feet down an embankment adjacent to the freeway.

Firefighter paramedics made access to the vehicle which had apparently rolled several times and pronounced the driver deceased on scene.

Crews worked for several hours to stabilize and retrieve the driver’s vehicle from it’s precarious position.

Officers are investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.
