Moreno Valley: Car Crashes Into Apartment Building After Teen Loses Control

12.17.2019 | 9:55 AM | MORENO VALLEY – A car was sent crashing into an apartment building after its teenage driver lost control, Tuesday morning.

Authorities responded to reports of a traffic collision involving a structure at the Verano Terrace Apartments located in the 25000 block of Sunnymead Boulevard around 9:55 AM.

Units arriving on scene located a Toyota sedan driven by a teenage boy and occupied by two other teenage passengers that had crashed into the side of a two-story apartment building.

Firefighter paramedics treated and transported at least one teenager to an area hospital and evaluated the apartment building for structural damage.

No occupants inside the apartment were injured however the incident and the building did not appear substantially damaged.

Officers are on scene investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.
