Monterey Park: Victims Flee In Car After Double Stabbing

04.07.2019 | 9:00 PM | MONTEREY PARK – Two people were hospitalized after being stabbed outside a restaurant, Sunday night.

Authorities responded to reports of stabbing victims in a vehicle near the intersection of New and Hershey avenues around 9:00 PM.

Units arriving on scene discovered two victims suffering from apparent stab wounds.

Both victims were treated on scene before being transported to USC Medical Center in unknown condition.

Initial reports indicate the victims were stabbed outside a restaurant in the 10000 block of North Soto Street in the Boyle Heights area.

The victims then reportedly fled from the scene in their vehicle before exiting the freeway and summoning help.

The circumstances surrounding the stabbing remain under investigation.
