Monterey Park: City Vehicle Becomes Stuck In Sinkhole

01.17.2019 | 10:30 PM | MONTEREY PARK – A city vehicle become stuck in a sinkhole at the scene of a reported water main break, Thursday night.

Crews responded to the reported water main break in the 1400 block of South Bradshaw Avenue around 10:30 PM.

A city truck arriving on scene of the water main break to evaluate became stuck after a sinkhole emerged nearby.

Workers inside the truck escape without injury but the road had to be closed in both directions while the truck could be removed and the water main break repaired.
