Montebello Crash Leaves One Trapped, Another Vehicle Overturned

DETAILS:
- Montebello Fire and East la CHP received a call of a two vehicle collision with one party trapped and the other vehicle on its roof and cut in half
- when units arrived there wasn’t a vehicle cut in half just both with major tc damage and one overturned.
- fire arrived at the scene and started to extract the patient from the vehicle and the patient was pinned in the back seat. fire transported the trapped patient to a local area hospital in unknown condition.
- the patient in the other vehicle was okay and was not transported, the cause of crash is unknown at this time East La CHP is investigating.
- The patient that was trapped was lucky to be alive do to the impact of the vehicle
