Monkey Rescued From Under Pickup Truck
INCIDENT DATE/TIME: 915pm 8-7-23
LOCATION: 9800 block of Telephone Rd
CITY: Houston
DETAILS:
- HPD responded to reports of an animal bite
- Arriving officers were directed to the undercarriage of a pickup truck
- The officers located a small monkey hiding on the drive train of the pickup truck
- Officers noticed blood coming from the monkey, and it appeared that the small monkey had vomited
- Officers requested BARC/ Animal control and once on location officers were able to retrieve the monkety without further incident
- It is believed that the monkey is a pet at a neighboring residence
