Mobile Home Destroyed By Fire In Deer Springs

At approximately 9:43 a.m. on June 16, 2026, firefighters responded to reports of a vegetation fire near Hollyhill Road and Gopher Canyon Road in the Deer Springs area.

Responding crews reported a visible smoke column from a distance, prompting dispatchers to request additional ground resources and air support.

Once overhead, air crews advised that the incident appeared to be a structure fire rather than a vegetation fire.

Firefighters arrived to find a double-wide mobile home fully engulfed in flames.

Due to the intensity of the fire, crews quickly transitioned to a structure fire response and began an aggressive attack on the blaze.

Despite initial concerns, firefighters were able to prevent the fire from spreading into the surrounding vegetation and successfully contained the incident to the structure.

The mobile home sustained extensive damage as crews worked to extinguish hot spots and overhaul the scene.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
