- A fire broke out on the 2nd floor of the gym.
- Its cause is unknown at this time.
- The fire quickly spread through the entire 2nd floor.
- A male (Dean Lister) who lives at the gym came out a side door and is suffering from smoke inhalation, and it appeared his feet were also burned.
- The fire was upgraded to a 2nd alarm.
- The Wydham Garden Motel next to the gym was evacuated by SDPD.
