Mini Cooper Engulfed in Flames on I-10 Off-Ramp
At approximately 11:27pm on March 7th, 2026, California Highway Patrol officers and San Bernardino County Fire crews responded to a reported vehicle fire on the westbound 10 Freeway off-ramp to Cedar Avenue in Bloomington.
Upon arrival, firefighters located a Mini Cooper fully engulfed in flames and blocking the off-ramp near the intersection. Crews quickly extinguished the fire, preventing the flames from spreading further and limiting ember cast in the area.
The driver was able to exit the vehicle safely and was not injured in the incident.
CHP temporarily closed one lane of the off-ramp while crews worked to extinguish the fire and clear the scene.
The cause of the fire was not immediately known.
