Mercedes Fire Fills Cypress Building With Smoke

At approximately 1:31 p.m. on May 26, 2026, Orange County firefighters responded to a reported commercial structure fire on Ball Road in Cypress.

Responding crews located a Mercedes-Benz burning inside the underground parking garage of a commercial building.

The fire extended to two additional vehicles, but firefighters were able to stop the flames before they spread into the structure itself.

Businesses inside the building were evacuated due to heavy smoke conditions while crews worked to contain the fire.

Firefighters brought the blaze under control within approximately 15 to 20 minutes.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
