- Officers were dispatched to a single-vehicle crash.
- Officers found a motorcycle crash that resulted in a fatality.
- Houston Fire Department personnel attempted lifesaving measures but were unsuccessful.
- The motorcycle rider and his coworkers had been leaving a nearby Topgolf.
- The group pulled up to a nearby park.
- The rider was going to travel through the tunnels and complete a loop at a high rate of speed to amplify the sound of the engine.
- The rider at one point lost control of the motorcycle and was ejected.
- Witness statements from friends indicated alcohol could have been involved.
- The rider was a 21-year-old Hispanic man.
- He was wearing a helmet and full protective gear.
- The rider’s next of kin arrived at the scene and was notified.
- Note: Motorcycle was in ditch area – motorcycle behind ambulance does not belong to the rider that was killed.
