Massive Street Takeover Shuts Down Broadway in LA

At approximately 7:35pm on March 22nd, 2026, Los Angeles Police Department officers responded to a large street takeover along Broadway Street between Adams Boulevard and Washington Boulevard in Los Angeles.

Authorities reported more than 100 vehicles filled the main roadway and surrounding side streets, with drivers and motorcyclists performing stunts.

LAPD’s Specialized Response Team responded and was able to disperse the crowd within approximately 30 minutes. No arrests were reported.

Following the incident, the streets were left covered in debris and trash.

The investigation remained ongoing.
