- A massive structure fire burned a large three-story home down to the ground and extended into the vegetation across the street.
- At 4:39 AM, a dispatch came out for a small vegetation fire in Crestline.
- Less than a minute later, the incident was upgraded to a structure fire. Also, CHP cad had reports of a “house on fire.”
- Firefighters arrived on the scene and found a large three-story house fully involved, with multiple live power lines down. The fire had also spread into the vegetation across the street.
- IC reported that this was a known hoarder home, and it was unknown if the residents were home.
- After about 45 minutes, the building collapsed as the top floor came down onto the bottom floor, but all firefighters were safe.
- The main gas meter and gas line had exploded, causing firefighters to have a long, drawn-out fight as they waited for the gas company to shut the gas off.
