Massive Inferno Burns Large 3 Story Home To The Ground

1. A massive structure fire burned a large three-story home down to the ground and extended into the vegetation across the street.
2. At 4:39 AM, a dispatch came out for a small vegetation fire in Crestline.
3. Less than a minute later, the incident was upgraded to a structure fire. Also, CHP cad had reports of a “house on fire.”
4. Firefighters arrived on the scene and found a large three-story house fully involved, with multiple live power lines down. The fire had also spread into the vegetation across the street.
5. IC reported that this was a known hoarder home, and it was unknown if the residents were home.
6. After about 45 minutes, the building collapsed as the top floor came down onto the bottom floor, but all firefighters were safe.
7. The main gas meter and gas line had exploded, causing firefighters to have a long, drawn-out fight as they waited for the gas company to shut the gas off.
8. The fire was reported knocked down at around 5:54 AM
9. The home residents were contacted and located, and they confirmed that they were not home.
10. No injuries were reported.
11. Firefighters face an extensive long mop-up.
12. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
