Massive Fire At Recycling Center In Harris County

LOCATION: 7615 E Mount Houston Rd
AREA/CITY: North East Harris County
DETAILS:

1. Per HCFMO “X”, Eastex FD is at a trash fire at a recycling company.
2. Three firefighters have been transported to the hospital. 2 have been released.
3. There are 13 Fire Departments assisting.
4. This operation may take two days.
5. The pile is around 80 ft tall and about 1 acre.
6. Debri from scrap metal, cars and lithium ion batteries from scooters is what this plant recycles.
7. Fire crews are shuttling in water from about a mile away.
