Harris County Sheriff’s Office Deputies responded to reports of a shooting at a large gathering in a parking lot for a possible benefit.

Deputies arrived to find a chaotic scene with about 100 people present.

Seven people, ages 16 to 25, were shot—five males and two females.

One of the victims was pronounced deceased at the hospital.

Two victims were transported by LifeFlight; the others went to local hospitals or clinics.

No suspects have been identified or detained.

No weapons have been recovered.

The motive is currently unknown.
