Mass Shooting at Cook’s Corner Bar & Grill

DETAILS:
- Four people including the shooter are dead, following a shooting at a biker bar in South Orange County.
- The Orange County Sheriff Department responded to multiple calls of shots fired at Cook’s Corner just after 7:00 p.m..
- Deputies arrived on scene minutes later and located a man with a gun at which time a deputy involved shooting occurred.
- The Orange County Fire Authority assisted with victims who were shot and transported six people to Providence Mission Hospital in Mission Viejo, five of the six people were treated for gunshot wounds and four others were reported deceased at the scene.
- The Orange County Sheriff’s Department is talking to witnesses at the scene and gathering all evidence they can.
- The shooter is reported to be retired law enforcement and is one of the deceased on scene.
- No deputies were injured and the Orange County Sheriff Department expects to have more information as it becomes available.
