Masked Men Shoot Man In His Garage, Houston, TX

DETAILS:
- Officers responded to a shooting.
- There they found a 29-year-oldĀ man who was shot in the neck, arm and side.
- He was taken to a hospital in critical condition by HFD but is expected to survive.
- The man and his 22-year-old girlfriend were sitting in an open garage having drinks when five masked individuals approached through the side of the yard, then front yard and entered the garage.
- The first suspect was armed with a short-barreled rifle and began yelling at him.
- The woman ran inside the home, locked herself in another room, and hid.
- A confrontation and fight occurred inside the garage before gunfire broke out.
- About 20 or more shots were fired.
- Two weapons and numerous casings were recovered at the scene.
- The five suspects fled the scene on foot following the shooting.
- Neighbors heard the commotion and tried to help.
- Motive is unknown at this time.
