Man With Hatchet Gets Shot By LAPD

DETAILS:

1. Los Angeles Police Department responded to a call of aggressive male with a hatchet
2. LAPD arrived and found a man wielding what looks like a hammer/hatchet
3. LAPD called for back up
4. After trying to negotiate with the suspect to put down the weapon, LAPD engaged in gunfire, striking the suspect
5. First video clip has audio from dash cam with shots fired
