Man Survives Horrific Crash After Being Ejected | San Diego

DETAILS:
- The male driver was seen by witnesses speeding on the wet Hwy 94 as he was westbound.
- Suddenly, he lost control of the vehicle and left the freeway.
- The car went up the steep embankment towards the College Grove Shopping Center, and the witness thought the car went into the Walmart parking lot.
- The car went up and then rode the slope of the embankment for over 50 yards.
- The car then came crashing down, rolling several times before going off an 8′ foot wall.
- The car landed on its wheels in the heavy brush of the right shoulder of the highway.
- The driver was ejected and found outside of the car by the 1st Responders.
- The driver was transported to a local hospital with serious injuries.
- DUI is suspected, and the driver will be tested at the hospital.
