Man Survives Fiery Crash While Trapped in Car | Ventura

09.06.2021 | 11:38 PM | VENTURA – A vehicle traveling eastbound on the 126 Freeway went over the side and landed on its roof down an embankment and started a fire approximately a mile west of Briggs Rd.

Good Samaritans stopped to try and help the victim, but the fire was too intense for them to get close.

Ventura City and County Fire crews responded and quickly put the fire out and made contact with the male trapped in the car.

The victim was transported to the hospital alert and talking; condition unknown.
