Man Shot To Death Outside Houston Apartments

At approximately 11:55 p.m. on May 21, 2026, deputies responded to reports of multiple gunshots fired at the Marybell Apartments on Imperial Valley Drive in Houston.

Responding deputies and paramedics located an adult male suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

Authorities attempted lifesaving measures, but the victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Homicide investigators remained at the apartment complex overnight interviewing witnesses and reviewing surveillance footage while searching for possible suspects and vehicles connected to the shooting.

Family members identified the victim as a 21 year-old man.

According to the victim’s mother, she believes her son may have been set up prior to the shooting after several people were seen taking photos with him earlier in the evening.

Witnesses at the scene described hearing numerous gunshots before seeing deputies attempting CPR on the victim.

The investigation remains ongoing.
