Man Shot In Skid Row Area Of Los Angeles

At approximately 3:00 a.m. on April 22, 2026, officers responded to a shooting near 7th Street and Stanford Avenue in the Skid Row area of Los Angeles.

A male victim was located suffering from a gunshot wound to the stomach and was transported to a hospital for treatment.

At least one shell casing was recovered at the scene as officers began their investigation.

The circumstances leading up to the shooting remain under investigation.
