Man Shot In Head Following Argument Outside Huntington Park McDonald’s

A man was reportedly shot in the head Thursday night following an argument involving several people outside a McDonald’s restaurant in Huntington Park.

The shooting occurred around 8:30 p.m. on September 24, 2026, near Florence Avenue and Marbrisa Avenue.
According to preliminary information, an argument broke out between a couple and two men who were leaving the restaurant. The confrontation escalated when one of the individuals allegedly opened fire, striking a man who was sitting in the passenger seat of a white sedan.
The gunman reportedly fired an unknown number of rounds before fleeing the scene, possibly in a black pickup truck. The suspected shooter was said to have been accompanied by a woman, while the victim was with another man.

Huntington Park police officers responded and performed CPR on the victim until Los Angeles County Fire Department personnel arrived.
The victim was transported to St. Francis Medical Center in Lynwood. Although initial reports indicated he had been shot in the head, his condition had not been confirmed. It was not immediately known whether the shooting was fatal.

The McDonald’s restaurant closed early following the shooting.
Huntington Park police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident. No additional information regarding the suspect’s identity or any arrests was immediately available.
