Man Shot and Killed While Driving

INCIDENT DATE/TIME: 0100am 9-2-25
LOCATION:  3400 block of Memel St
AREA/CITY:  Houston
DETAILS:

1. HPD recieved a 911 call of a possible shooting
2. arriving officers made contact with the caller who stated that he was in a car when the driver was shot multiple times
3. car came to a stop on Memel, and officers located the vehicle with a male shot at least 3 times
4. HFD was requested, and pronounced the male deceased at scene
5. prelim info- 2 males inside a car a couple blocks away when someone opened fire on the driver
6. driver then drove a couple blocks before expiring
7. passenger then jumped out of the car and ran home to call 911
