Man Shot and Killed Outside Bar in South Los Angeles *Caught on Camera*

At approximately 4:00 a.m. on January 24th, 2026, officers with the Los Angeles Police Department Southeast Division responded to reports of a shooting outside a bar near the intersection of 120th Street and South Figueroa Street in Los Angeles.

Responding officers located an adult male suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene. Surveillance footage from nearby cameras appeared to show a suspect pulling out a handgun and shooting the victim at close range in front of a woman who could be heard screaming.

Following the shooting, officers forced entry into the bar after receiving information that suspects may have entered the business. However, additional video footage appeared to show the suspects walking away from the scene, heading eastbound on 120th Street from Figueroa Street.

Investigators stated the motive for the shooting was unknown. The incident remained under investigation by LAPD homicide detectives.
